Queen Anne Residence

Description:

Remodel and addition.

Vision:

Retain stylistic quality of the original 1909 house and provide for family expansion.

Planning:

The original, existing attic space did not provide adequate headroom space and the stair access was substandard. New spaces at the second floor include (3) bedrooms and (2) bathrooms. The main floor was remodeled to include a foyer and new open staircase. The main floor kitchen was completely remodeled in a period appropriate style.

Design:

The new second floor roof-line was held low at the perimeter and rises steeply. Each dormer contains a bedroom including a special tree-house master bedroom.
